Bill Bria has been a freelance film critic and historian since 2015. In that time, he’s contributed various pieces on cinema to such sites as Bloody Disgusting, Dread Central, Polygon, Vague Visages, Daily Grindhouse, and Crooked Marquee. Since joining the News Desk at /Film in 2021, he’s conducted numerous interviews with filmmakers in addition to writing weekly articles. A lifelong horror fan ever since seeing “Ghostbusters” at four-years-old and “The Evil Dead” several years after that, Bill has a voracious appetite for cinema in general and horror movies in particular, making sure to study every movie he purchases on Blu-Ray from the trashiest slasher to the most elevated thriller.
