The Garage

Matthew Carroll created The Garage as an outlet to share his love for geeky story telling through song. He takes the stories he loves and finds an emotional core to them and write a song that reflects that story while attempting to connect with the listener in a new and immersive way.

The Garage’s 1st full length album “Earl Grey, Hot” will release everywhere on February 21st 2020. You can hear an early sneak peak of it right here!

This is an album inspired by a love of Star Trek! Each song is based on an episode or movie from the series. The Garage has attempted to not only tell the story of these episodes , but to find the emotions and concepts behind them and filter that through their own lives to craft songs that can hopefully be appreciated as more than novelty tune. This New Crazy Project

The Garage is now embarking on an ambitious project of writing a song every week to go along with the new show Star Trek: Picard. Matthew says this is the one of the most fulfilling in his life, but it feels like walking on a tight wire.
